INFORTREND SET TO COMPLY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS
RAID Manufacturing to Conform to European RoHS Directive

TAIPEI, Taiwan, November 15, 2005—RAID storage expert Infortrend® today announced that it is following all the steps necessary to achieve compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive in electrical and electronic equipment that was recently passed into law by the European Union. This Directive aims to protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous materials in new equipment. By applying its own considerable efforts and expertise and working closely with its customers and suppliers, Infortrend plans to achieve compliance on or before the July 1, 2006 deadline, while maintaining an uninterrupted supply of quality products.
