INFORTREND RAID SUBSYSTEM PASSES FALCONSTOR CERTIFICATION TESTING

EonStor F16F-R2021 Demonstrates Interoperability with IPStor® Software

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—April 18, 2006 – RAID storage expert Infortrend® announced today that its EonStor® F16F-R2021 Fibre-to-Fibre, redundant controller RAID subsystem has passed qualification testing with FalconStor's IPStor® solutions.  

FalconStor's IPStor network storage infrastructure software solutions remove the complexity and expense from storage management by seamlessly delivering storage area network (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) infrastructure, and advanced enterprise-class storage services for both networked and direct attached storage under a unified management umbrella across Fibre Channel and IP/iSCSI. IPStor optimizes storage utilization, accelerates backup and recovery, maximizes I/O performance, and ensures business continuity via sophisticated data replication services.

The EonStor F16F-R2021 was tested with IPStor v 5.0 i n a SAN environment including switches from Brocade Communications Systems; a host computer from Dell; Microsoft Windows 2000 with SAN client software; and products from other FalconStor certified suppliers. Testing on this subsystem was completed March 1, 2006, and Infortrend plans to submit other RAID arrays for verification testing in the future.
