4G-FC-to-SAS Subsystem Designed for Use in Apple Environments Meets Creative Professionals’ Need for Performance and Reliability

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, April 14, 2008 – RAID storage expert Infortrend® is demonstrating its latest RAID subsystem targeted specifically for the Audio/Visual (AV) market this week at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. To date, Infortrend has certified the AV-optimized EonStor® (ES) S16F to work with Final Cut Pro video software; AJA and Black Magic I/O cards; Tiger Technologies MetaSAN software; and other third-party software solutions. Combining high-performance 4Gb Fibre Channel (4G-FC) transfer speeds and the improved features of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology, this 16-bay, dual independent controller RAID array can support up to three streams of uncompressed 10-bit high definition 1080 video.
