INFORTREND APPOINTS JAMES HSIEH AS THE NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL MARKETING
Twenty Years of Experience in Multinational Enterprise Computing Marketing to Bring Infortrend to the Worldwide Marketplace

Taipei, Taiwan, February 2, 2010 – Infortrend®, the networked storage expert, (Public TPE: 2495) announced today that James Hsieh, formerly Worldwide and Asia Pacific Marketing Manager of Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company, has joined Infortrend as the company's Vice President of Global Marketing. Hsieh is expected to provide marketing leadership to penetrate the global storage market and to grow Infortrend's business.

Hsieh is a veteran in the enterprise computing industry. He holds a MS degree in Computer Science Engineering and a BBA degree in Business Administration focusing on marketing.  His background includes product marketing, technical marketing, mission critical services, marketing communications, strategic alliances and business management.  He joined HP's marketing team in 1987 in Cupertino, CA, and has held various sales and marketing management positions in the US, Japan, China and Taiwan at national, regional and worldwide levels.
