Powerful Cloud Features to Leverage Flexibility of Cloud

To leverage cloud storage’s unlimited scalability and flexible “scale on demand” model, organizations are increasingly in search of storage solutions that combine the benefits of both cloud and on-premises storage. By integrating Intelligent Cloud Gateway Engine and supporting a wide range of both private cloud and public cloud services, including Amazon, Azure and Google, Infrotrend storage systems offer 3 cloud functions to make the most of cloud's advantages with the purchase of only one license required.

Cloud Cache: A copy of frequently accessed data or all data (fully cache mode) is kept on local storage and all data is also flushed to cloud.

Cloud Backup: The latest data is always stored locally while multi-point-in-time snapshots are stored on cloud for disaster recovery.

Cloud Tiering: Frequently accessed data is kept on local storage and infrequently accessed data is migrated to cloud.

Features Benefits
All features included in one license Purchase of one license enables access to all three cloud functions - Cloud Tiering, Cloud Cache and Cloud Backup
More space and lower costs Users save on costs for hardware purchase, system maintenance and personnel management
Scale on Demand Organizations can tap into unlimited cloud storage and scale up as business grows and evolves
No time/location limit Access to files stored on cloud is available anywhere, anytime
Automated backup to cloud Data management and maintenance is made simple with automated backup to cloud through the built-in cloud functions
Support for both public and private clouds Public cloud services including Google, Amazon and Azure and Openstack private cloud are supported

Cloud Cache

With Cloud Cache, a copy of frequently accessed data is kept on local storage while all data is flushed to cloud according to a scheduled snapshot. If Fully Cache is enabled, all data is kept locally and a copy of all data is flushed to cloud. All data is recoverable based on the last flush period of the snapshot.

Cloud Cache is suitable for email archiving or less-frequently-accessed database archiving. Cloud Fully Cache is suitable for less-frequently-accessed database or production data backup and disaster recovery.

Cloud Backup

The latest data will always be stored locally while multi-point-in-time snapshots are stored in cloud. Users can directly access local storage and can restore any version of snapshot from cloud when a problem occurs at the local site.

Cloud Backup is suitable for frequently-accessed database or production data backup and disaster recovery.

Cloud Tiering

Frequently accessed data is kept on local storage while infrequently accessed data is migrated to cloud. Cloud Tiering is suitable for users who wish to tap into the highly scalable cloud storage.
