Determine If Pillars Are Needed
Depending on your front rack post positions on the chassis guide, you may need to install the adjuster pillars so that the rear end of the enclosure will not protrude from the rear end of the cabinet.

If your front rack posts are secured on the chassis guide at
- position A, install the 50 mm adjuster pillars before installing the enclosure.
- position B, install the 25 mm adjuster pillars before installing the enclosure.
- position C, no need to install the adjuster pillars.
Note:
Rack post installation positions conform to the rack mount server chassis standards of SSI (Server System Infrastructure).
Check the Adjuster Pillar Kit Contents
Check your adjuster pillars kit for the following contents.

2 x 25mm and 2 x 50mm Adjuster pillars (left and right)
8 x M5 9mm screws
2 x M5 cage nutsNote:
The adjuster pillar kit is only needed if the rear end of your system protrudes at the rear end of the cabinet.
Assemble the Adjuster Pillars
- Check the unit boundary on the front rack posts

- Orient the left and right adjuster pillars and secure them with the bundled screws at 2U and 3U positions on the front rack posts.

- Insert the two bundled cage nuts into the cage nut holes on the adjuster pillars to secure the enclosure in place later.
