After creating local folders on CS, you can share them out with internal users via different protocols (CIFS/SMB, NFS, and FTP).
You can share local folders with external users via the CIFS/SMB and NFS protocols.
Note:
You must create a local folder to share in File Manager first
- Go to Settings > File system > Shared Folders
- Click Add a shared folder.
- Specify the basic shared folder settings:
Name Description Name Specify a name for the shared folder. This name is displayed in the shared folder list. Folder path Specify the location of the folder for sharing, or click Browse to choose one. Protocol Set the shared folder’s accessing protocol: CIFS/SMB, NFS and
FTP.Share name Specify a name for the shared folder. This name is displayed to accessing users.
