Before you start running IOs, perform system diagnosis to check if the health conditions of the network and drives are normal.
Note:
You must stop all IOs before running the diagnosis. If not, the obtained diagnosis result can be inaccurate.
Network
The system will check the current network status.
- Go to Settings > Maintenance > System diagnosis > Network diagnosis, and then click Diagnose.
- You can see the diagnosis result once the test is finished.
- Follow the troubleshooting suggestions to resolve the problem if the system has reported any abnormality in the result.
Note:
- To identify location of abnormalities, click on Service LED to highlight the nodes in question.
- You can export the diagnostic result to an Excel file.
Hard Drives
The system checks the current drive status.
- Go to Settings > Maintenance > System diagnosis > Hard drive diagnosis, and then click Diagnose.
- You can see the diagnosis result once the test is finished.
- Follow the troubleshooting suggestions to resolve the problem if the system has reported any abnormality in the result.
Note:
- If a drive is found in an abnormal state, you must replace it with a healthy one to prevent performance drop.
- You can export the diagnosis result to an Excel file.
