Before you set up a cluster, make sure that the following steps have been completed.

• Install drives into the drive bays of each CS system. The minimum number of drives required varies by model. For details, refer to How many drives must I install on my CS model?
• All of your CS systems have been turned on.
• All of the network ports on each node have been connected to network switches via network cables.
