The client workstation can access shared folders on CS in either way:

Direct Access

The Windows platform is used for demonstration in this section.

Open the File Explorer and type in the username/password for permitted access to the folder on CS.

EonView

1. Download the EonView utility on the Infortrend support page.
2. Choose your OS type and install it on your local computer.
3. Open EonView. This utility automatically connects the local computer to CS. Alternatively, you can enter the CS storage’s IP address to access shared folders on CS.
4. Click Next and enter the user credentials to access the CS storage. On the utility, you can switch to a specific shared folder on the list.
5. To have more shared folders for access, click “Add a shared folder” and select the folder you want to mount as a network drive on the local computer.
6. Then you can start sharing files via the newly added shared folder.
