Important!

• For dual-controller systems, identical host board combinations must be used on both controllers.
• Refer to the Host Board and Memory Guide and Hardware Manual on Infortrend’s website for more information, including supported host board types, supported combinations, and important notes.

1. Remove the retention screws below the controller module’s ejection levers.

   

2. Push the ejection levers downwards to dislodge the controller (A), and then pull to remove the controller from the enclosure (B).

   

3. Remove the screw that secures the dummy cover to the controller (A), and then remove the dummy cover from the controller (B).

   

4. Use the guide pin to position the host board onto the slot. Place it carefully (A), and then tighten the thumb screw to secure the host board in place (B).
