By adding a file server, the IP address of it and the protocol for connection will be stored in GS.

1. On a web browser, log in to EonOne using the GS device’s management IP.
2. On EonOne, go to Settings > Applications > Installed.
3. Find Backup Server. Click the item block of this application, and click Open.

   

4. Click Data sources. In the Data sources section, click File server. All added file servers are displayed in the following section. Click Add.

   

5. Go to Add a file server page, specify the following information:
   • File server name
   • IP address: the IP address of this file server.
   • Protocol: Select CIFS or NFS for connection. When selecting CIFS, specify an account name and the corresponding password.

     

6. Click OK. The newly-added file server will be then displayed in the File server list. If you want to add another file server, repeat Step 4 to Step 6.
