About Backup Server

To help enterprises achieve efficient and reliable data backup, you can use the products of EonStor GS / GSe / GSe Pro series to protect your data and ensure business continuity. EonStor GS / GSe / GSe Pro series can back up data in file servers, cloud storage, and PCs, and restore data to these systems when needed.

Architecture

• Work with file servers: You can back up data from File server A, and restore data to the original or a different location in File server A.
• Work with cloud storage: You can back up data from Cloud storage A, and restore data to the original location in Cloud storage A.
• Work with PCs: You can back up data from PC A, and restore data to the same or a different location in PC A or restore data to PC B.

Hardware Requirements

A minimum of 8 GB memory is required.

Firmware & Software Requirements

• The backup server is available on firmware version 1.65T.15 or later.
• Configure at least one file-level channel for data transferring.
