Check the Slide Rail Kit Contents

Check your rackmount slide kit for the following contents.

Note:

• The inner rails are assembled together with the entire slide rails.
• For the washers and M5 10mm screws, use at least 8 pieces of each to secure the rails to a rack.

Assemble the Slide Rail Kit

Important!

• The rack depth must be at least 1200mm.
• The front posts must be positioned 50mm or 75mm from the front rack door.
• The distance between the front posts and the rear posts must be within the range of 633.8mm to 925mm.

1. Pull the inner rail out until it is fully extended. Press the release tab (A), and remove the inner rail out of the outer rail (B).

   

2. Push the lever in the direction indicated by the arrow (A), and slide the middle rail back into the outer rail (B).

   

3. If the front posts are positioned 75mm away from the front rack door, skip to the next step. If the front posts are positioned 50mm away from the front rack door, secure the outer latch to the rearmost screw holes in the rail.

   • A. Remove the four screws securing the outer latch.
   • B. Shift the outer latch backward to align with the rearmost screw holes, and then fasten it to the rail using the previously removed screws.

   Do the same for both sides.

   

4. Secure the outer rails to the front and rear rack posts with the M5 10mm screws and washers provided.

   

5. For front posts that are positioned 75mm away from the front rack door, secure the pillars to the front posts using the M5 9mm screws provided.

   Note:

   The pillars and M5 9mm screws are included in the accessory box that comes with the storage system package.

   

6. Attach the inner rails to the sides of the enclosure. Ensure that the pins on the enclosure click into the holes in the inner rails.

   

7. Secure the inner rails to the enclosure using the bundled M4 4mm screws.
