- Click + to add a task.
- The Add a task window is displayed. Specify the task name.
- Check the backup type. When the first time that you create a task, the backup type must be Full so that all data in the selected folders can be backed up.
- Select the data that you want to back up.
- Specify the frequency for the task to run. You can choose Once, Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly. When choosing weekly /monthly, select one or more days to suit your need. When choosing bi-weekly, select a day.
Note:
The task runs according to the time settings on the storage device. That is, when a task is set to run at 10:00, it runs when the time turns 10:00 on the storage device.
- Click OK to add this task. The task will be displayed in the Task scheduler list.
