Slide Rail Kit Contents

Note:

The inner rails are assembled together with the entire slide rails.

Assemble the Slide Rail Kit

Important!

• The rack depth must be at least 1200mm.
• The front posts must be positioned 50mm or 75mm from the front rack door.
• The distance between the front posts and the rear posts must be within the range of 633.8mm to 925mm.

1. Pull the inner rail out until it is fully extended. Press the release tab (A), and remove the inner rail out of the outer rail (B).

   

2. Push the lever in the direction indicated by the arrow (A), and slide the middle rail back into the outer rail (B).

   

3. If the front posts are positioned 50mm away from the front rack door, secure the outer latch bracket to the front screw holes in the rail.

   

4. Secure the outer rails to the front and rear rack posts with the M5 10mm screws and washers provided.

   

5. For front posts that are positioned 75mm away from the front rack door, secure the pillars to the front posts with the M5 9L screws and M5 cage nuts provided.

   Note:

   The pillars, M5 9L screws, and M5 cage nuts are included in the accessory box that comes with the storage system package.

   

6. Attach the inner rails to the sides of the enclosure. Ensure that the pins on the enclosure click into the holes in the inner rails.

   

7. Secure the inner rails to the enclosure with the M4 4mm screws provided.

   

Install the Inner Latches on the Rear Side of the Enclosure

1. Remove the left PSU from the enclosure (A), and then secure the two inner latches onto the rear brackets with the M4 5.5mm screws (B & C), as shown below.

   Note:

   The inner latches are included in the cable management arm kit box; the M4 5.5mm screws are included in the accessory box.

   

2. Once done, insert the left PSU back to the original place.
