This section describes the procedures of activating an HA service license on a storage device.

Important!

• The license is required on each storage device in the HA storage. To enable block-level HA service / file-level HA service, additional purchase of the corresponding license is required.
• Make sure the firmware version on each storage device is the same and supports HA service. For the firmware version that supports HA service, refer to Firmware & Software Requirements in HA Service Overview.

1. Log in to EonOne of a storage device. Go to Settings > System > License management and generate the License Application File.
2. On Infortrend official website (https://www.infortrend.com), go to Support > Product Services > Licensing Services.
3. Select Advanced License Activation from the left menu, and log in to your account. Follow the instructions to download the License Key File. If you do not have an account, create one and register your devices first.
4. Return to EonOne. Go to Settings > System > License management to upload the License Key File.
5. Repeat the steps above for the other storage device.
