Check the Slide Rail Kit Contents
Check your slide rail kit for the following contents.
Assemble the Slide Rail Kit
- Insert the rear bracket (03) into the ditch (circled in blue) of the front bracket (01 and 02).
- Determine the position where to install the rear bracket (03) to the rear rack post, and then adjust the length of the sliding front bracket (01 and 02) until it meets the front rack post.
- Secure the sliding front bracket with one M5 x 55mm position screw (05) to the front rack post, and then secure the rear bracket with two M5 x 55mm position screws (05) to the rear rack post (top and bottom).
- To secure the slide rail’s length in place, attach the bracket support (04) to the slide rail and secure it with three M5 x L10 crosshead screws (06).
- Insert one cage nut (08) into the front rack post. The cage nut secures the enclosure in place.
Open the covers from the left and right ears of the enclosure, and then lift the enclosure and align it with the slide rails on the rack, keeping the pressure even on both sides. Slowly push the enclosure to the rack and fasten one M5 x 23mm crosshead screw (07) on each side of the enclosure's chassis ears to secure the enclosure to the rack.
