Symptoms
A volume is created in GS UI, but the defragment function cannot be executed on it.
Possible Cause
The defragment feature is only available for file-level volumes. Block-level volumes do not support defragmentation.
Recommended Solution
- Check the volume type in the system settings.
- If the volume is block-level, defragmentation will not be available.
- To use defragmentation, create a file-level volume instead.
