Maintenance Guide

Key Components

KS / KS 3000U / KSa 3004U

IEC includes management interfaces and service components that support application deployment and infrastructure operations.

EonKube

EonKube is the primary user interface for managing Kubernetes resources and user-facing services. It is used for tasks such as:

  • Viewing and managing workloads
  • Launching and managing applications from the Marketplace
  • Creating and managing virtual machines
  • Submitting and monitoring HPC jobs
  • Viewing monitoring dashboards and event logs
  • Managing users, projects, namespaces, and authentication settings, depending on role permissions

EonOne for KS

EonOne for KS is used for infrastructure-level management and maintenance operations. It provides access to system configuration and maintenance functions, such as:

  • Node management
  • Firmware updates
  • External storage integration
  • Backup and restore configuration
  • Monitoring and maintenance settings
  • System-level configuration and service management

Application Marketplace

The Application Marketplace provides a catalog of deployable applications and services. It allows users to browse available application packages, review version information, and launch supported applications directly from the management interface.

The Marketplace simplifies deployment by providing predefined application templates and configuration forms, reducing the effort required to create workloads manually. Through the Marketplace, users can:

  • Browse supported applications
  • Review available application versions
  • Deploy applications with guided configuration
  • Access HPC applications and platform services
  • Manage installed applications after deployment

External Storage Systems

IEC can integrate with supported external storage systems, such as EonStor GS, GSx, or DS, to provide additional storage capacity and related services. These systems can be used for:

  • Persistent storage
  • Object storage for backup targets
  • Docker proxy services
  • Helm chart repository services
  • HPC data storage
