The following statuses describe the progress and potential problem handling at different stages of the backup process. Use the information to understand whether the backup was successful or where an error occurred and take appropriate measures.
| Status | Description |
| New | The task has just been created. The actual data backup has not yet started. The system is preparing the configuration and allocating resources for the upcoming backup. |
| Failed validation | The verification process of the backup data failed. An error occurred dur-ing the data transfer. |
| In progress | This is an active state during the backup process and indicates that data is being transferred to the backup destination. The system begins to read data from the persistent volumes, encrypts, and compresses the data and uploads it to the backup destination. |
| Partially completed | Part of the data backup fails, but the other parts succeed. Some data or volumes were not backed up successfully due to inaccessi-bility or temporary errors. You can check which resources failed and re-solve the issue manually. Even if part of the backup fails, other successful data is still available for restoration. |
| Failed | The entire backup process failed. None of the data backup has com-pleted. The backup operation needs to be restarted after you find out the problems. |
| Completed | The backup process has been completed and all data has been success-fully backed up and verified. The data is safely stored and can be restored if needed. |
