EonSight generates alerts upon detecting the following situations, providing specific analysis and data-driven optimization recommendations.
- Anomaly Detection: Actual resource usage significantly deviates from the EonSight Historical Range or predefined rules.
- Capacity Forecasting: Predicted capacity usage for the next 30 days is projected to exceed the standard 100%.
- Performance Bottlenecks: CPU I/O Wait is detected to be too high over a period.
- Network Health: Network errors or packet drops are detected.
- APP/VM Resource Adjustment: Suggestions for lowering resource requests for applications/VMs that are over-provisioned or have fluctuating usage patterns.
- Sustained High Load & Expansion: Identifies long-term hardware bottlenecks (CPU, Memory, Disk) and recommends physical hardware upgrades based on 7-day usage trends.
Procedure
- Go to EonOne for KS > Event Log
- Filter the Event and select AI Event or find the Event with EonSight Tag
- Click on the Details to check the analysis and suggestions.
