How to Reset Your GS GUI Login Password?

Last modified date: Thu, 24 Oct 2024 15:56:54 GMT+8

Symptom

You have forgotten the EonOne login password for your GS system and cannot access the GUI.

Solution

Step 1: Identify the Default Button
Locate the default button on the rear panel of your GS controller.

Step 2: Ensure the System is Fully Booted
Before proceeding, make sure your system is completely booted up. Attempting to reset the password while the system is still booting may cause unexpected behavior.

Step 3: Press the Default Button
Press and hold the default button on the rear panel of the controller until the green light turns on. This indicates that the reset process has been initiated.

Step 4: Wait for the System to Reset
Allow the system a few seconds to complete the reset process. Once the green light is on, it means the default settings have been restored, including the EonOne login credentials.

Step 5: Login with Default Credentials
After the reset, use the default login credentials to access the GS GUI. The default username and password are as follows:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

Step 6: Change the Password
Immediately after logging in, change the default password to a new, secure password to prevent unauthorized access. To change the password, follow these steps:

Important Notice

Only perform this reset operation when necessary, as it will revert GUI login password to factory defaults.

Additional Tips
  • Document your new password and store it in a secure place to avoid forgetting it in the future.
  • Consider using a password manager to keep track of your credentials securely.
