Step 1: Register products

Make sure you have registered your products on Infortrend’s website at Support > Product Services > Product Registration. You will need to log in to your account. Sign up to create an account if you do not have one.

Step 2: Download firmware

1. Go to Infortrend’s website > Support > Technical Support.
2. Select the product family and click Downloads.
3. Click Firmware on the left panel.
4. Log in to your account. Sign up to create an account if you do not have one.
5. Select the model name and serial number of the product, or enter the serial number directly.
6. Download the suitable firmware file to your local computer.

Step 3: Upload firmware

1. Go to the product’s EonOne management interface.
2. Go to Settings > Update & security > Firmware update.
3. Click Browse and select the firmware file you just downloaded.
4. Click Update firmware.

• For a single-controller model: Make sure to schedule a downtime in advance.
• For a dual-controller model: The two controllers must use the same version of firmware. To update the controllers one by one in sequence, choose Rolling update. To update and restart both controllers at the same time, choose Restart.

Notes:

• Do NOT reset or turn off the computer or the controller while uploading a firmware file. Doing so may result in an irrecoverable error that requires the service of the manufacturer.
• Restoring to factory default settings may be required, which will erase the existing LUN mappings.
