Symptom
An error message saying “Failed to create a cluster” appears during the CS system deployment process.
Diagnosis
This issue is often caused by a jumbo frame MTU mismatch between the storage system and the network switch.
Solution
- Verify the jumbo frame (MTU) settings on your switch.
- If the switch is not configured for jumbo frames, change the MTU size on the storage system from 9000 to 1500.
