Block level snapshots allow you to capture the state of a volume at a specific point in time. These snapshots can be accessed and mounted on Windows or Linux servers for data recovery or analysis. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to mount and access block level snapshot data.
Procedure:
You can mount the snapshot volume to the Windows or Linux server by following these steps:
- Access Snapshot Monitoring:
After the snapshot is completed, navigate to EonOne > Settings > Data protection > Monitoring. - Navigate to Snapshot Section:
- Go to the Snapshot section.
- Click the link of the snapshot name.
- Select Desired Snapshot:
- A list of snapshots that share the name and were taken at different moments will be displayed.
- Select the snapshot that you want to map.
- Map Snapshot to a Host:
